The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect, with plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance. The planned activities and small number of guests allowed for great connections with other travelers. It was a great place to rest and have interesting conversations with like-minded people. I can't wait to go back and I highly recommend it to all my friends.
I felt right at home and had no complaints whatsoever.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a wonderful hostel in an amazing location. The staff at Hostal La Isla were beyond amazing, going out of their way to make my stay perfect. They assisted me with directions, reservations, and gave great suggestions. It honestly felt like staying with family, knowing that someone was always looking out for me. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with art adorning the walls and a nurturing vibe. The balance between private rooms and common areas was just right, allowing for a relaxed and easygoing mood. I also enjoyed the delicious breakfast, which included oat pancakes, eggs, and chia pudding. Plus, the access to free yoga and meditation classes was a fantastic bonus. I highly recommend staying here and can't wait to see the progress of their expansion plans.
Nothing, everything was perfect. 👍

Loved the location! It was super convenient to explore the city and visit the main attractions. The hostel offered some great activities like yoga and meditation, which was a nice bonus.- One of the best aspects was the free healthy breakfast provided. It was delicious and gave me a great start to the day.
Be aware! The tap water in the area is not safe to drink or even use for brushing your teeth.

Friendly staff, welcoming and helpful to all guests. Cozy and warm atmosphere with a family vibe. Great location in the city center, nearby shops, restaurants, and attractions. Convenient kitchen with shared spaces and a fridge for storing food. Local market nearby for buying fresh produce. Offer different classes such as yoga, meditation, and cacao ceremonies. Activities every day make it easy to meet new people.
Felt very much at home, no complaints at all.

I had an awesome stay at this hostel. The warm and lovely spirit of Hostal La Isla was evident from the moment I arrived. Marcella provided us with lots of information about the city and took the time to show us around the hostel. The decoration was great, with plenty of sitting areas and hammocks to relax in. The breakfast spread was delicious, with a variety of options including coffee, bread, fruits, and yoghurt. The hostel also had two adorable cats that were always looking for love and cuddles. One of the best hostels I've stayed in, definitely in my top 10.
Nothing I didn't like to be fair. 😊

The hostel had a great atmosphere and friendly staff. The activities offered, such as yoga and meditation, were enjoyable and free. The location was convenient and there was a laundry service available. The dorm with pods had comfortable bedding.
The hostel was small and crowded, making it difficult to find space in the kitchen or a quiet area. The old dorms upstairs had average bedding and there weren't enough bathrooms for all the guests.

We had an amazing experience at this hostel. Hostal La Isla provided a great environment for self-development and personal growth. The staff and volunteers were friendly and engaging. It was refreshing to be in a place where people could openly discuss their emotions. The hostel also offered various activities like yoga and Sunday walks, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The location was perfect, just one block away from the main walkway and close to Wapani, a dance studio with exciting classes. The pods with private curtains were comfortable and provided the privacy and quiet time we desired. we felt welcomed, safe, and had an enjoyable stay.
Can't think of anything 😊

Our stay at La Isla was truly memorable. The atmosphere created by the guests and volunteers made us feel at home right away. We particularly enjoyed the yoga class and the delicious complimentary breakfast. The rooms were beautiful and had stunning views. We can't wait to visit again!
One drawback we encountered was the WiFi, which gave us some trouble. However, it was a minor inconvenience in an otherwise wonderful stay.
